EPISHUTTLE
Treatment Without Compromise

The EpiShuttle is an award-winning Class 1 Medical Device created for safe patient transport, with ease-of-use and safety of both emergency responders and patients in mind. It features a robust design that ensures secure containment of potentially infectious patients, while allowing for quick deployment and efficient handling in critical situations.

Its EN 1789 compliance means it can be used in ambulances, helicopters, and airplanes. Vehicles that are used for transport of highly infectious patients in the EpiShuttle do not have to be disinfected after patient transport. This ensures that vehicles can remain in operation as much as possible.

When transporting an infectious patient inside the EpiShuttle, medical personnel do not need to wear full PPE. This allows for longer shifts and reduces the risk of making mistakes due to fatigue or reduced situational awareness.

Dual Protection
The EpiShuttle air ventilation system can either be configured in negative pressure mode to protect the surroundings from an infectious patient, or in positive pressure mode to protect the patient from the surroundings.

For highly infectious patients and contaminated individuals exposed to CBRN agents. To protect the first responders and healthcare professionals.

For vulnerable and immunocompromised patients, burn victims or healthy citizens who need protection from hazardous environments.
The EpiShuttle is reusable and can be safely disinfected and re-assembled in less than two hours.
Use cases for the EpiShuttle include
- • Chemical exposure
- • Infectious Disease
- • Radiation exposure
- • Burns
- • Strokes
- • and more
Medical ports
Located at the head end of the EpiShuttle base, the medical ports allow treatment and monitoring of the patient during transport.

The medical wire membrane is made of a highly flexible rubber material, permitting a sealed passage of up to nine IV lines, monitoring cables, and/or oxygen lines.

The ventilator sleeve allows entry of a mechanical ventilator hose with a HEPA filter. This design allows the mechanical ventilator to be kept on the outside of the EpiShuttle.
Operator Ports
For optimal treatment during transport, the EpiShuttle has eight interchangeable operator ports integrated into the hard top. The ports are positioned to ensure access to all parts of the patient’s body, including airways.

The ambidextrous gloves are made from flame-resistant CSM/Hypalon, compliant with European regulation 2016/ 425, PPE Category 3, and tested according to EN 374-1, EN 374-5, and EN 388.

A sluice bag can be used to transfer equipment, food or medicine to the patient.
